So I found out that my rent will not be going up! Good to hear (and makes having to pay for basic tv more tolerable :))

Movies of the month:

So I've been rather lucky and have now seen most of the current DVD releases (free!) courtesy of the library (even having to pay a 6 dollar stupid tax (forgot my days off changed so returned them all a day late- still an amazing deal)

The run down (If I can remember them all..)

Doubt- ehhh wasn't impressed
Bedtime Stories- rather enjoyed prob will get it when its under 10 bucks
Marley and Me- ehhh wasn't impressed
Nights in Rodenthe- ehh wasn't impressed
Slumdog Millionaire- ehh wasn't impressed (though it was visually impressive)
Boy in the Striped Pajamas- pretty good but DEPRESSING (yes I *know* it was about the Holocaust but still..)
The Reader- good but not on the "need to own list"
Bolt- tolerable but too predictable
Twilight- sigh I liked it.. I'll admit it

Still need to see Journey to the Center of the Earth and Space Buddies that I checked out today... Woot!

Now on to the summer releases.. Course the only one I think I'll see in theaters is Potter and thats debatable..

So I've been in the mood for pastrami burgers lately, which do not exist in the state of Florida (heck even finding pastrami is hard and its 9 bucks a lb..) So I was going to make my own till I figure out how expensive it was to buy all the stuff and realized itd be cheaper to buy the 'strami and 2 jr whoppers.. They actually were pretty good

Rewarded or Punished

So I don't understand why people should be rewarded with OT when they didn't (not couldn't) get their work done. So if I choose to (*^% my day away does that mean I get 3 hours of overtime too? Instead of making sure to balance my time and get the equivalent amount of work (plus running the floor) done with time to spare? and I know its the work that was done was not correct so itll bite him in the arse tomorrow morning but its NOT MY PROBLEM

So off and on all day there had been a "talking" car outside (and pretty loud as I can hear it inside..) Its really kinda creepy and I have no idea WHY anyone would want that feature.. It seems that every step from "Car Stopped" to "door open" to "Door Alarmed" then in reverse a while later "Door Open" "Car Started" "Car in Manual, first gear" announced to the neighborhood.. So my question... Does it tattle when you are speeding?

Its just not my phone...

I thought it was just my cell phone Everest liked to eat... Apparently its *everyones* phone. In the 3 hours I was at photo preview I was only handed 16 phones, 20 some odd hats, 5 purses/wallets/camera bags and an who knows how many sunglasses...


and caught about 15 people from running into the track.. CRAZY!

so I wonder some days who I (*^$ off in this company to not get a break... cause quite frankly I'm tired of it.

So after waiting 3 months my transfer went through.. Which should be good EXCEPT for 3 things... 1) I'd loose almost 70 cents an hour (which wouldnt be much to most people that adds up to over 25 a week but that isnt the deal breaker.. 2) the location, while I have picked up overtime there before is one of the very few places I hated for a variety of reasons (yet I figured the statistic probability of ending up there in all DTD (which was a choice) was minute as its the smallest (by far) location there) and the worst of all... 3) the one person I hate most in the company is now in that area and I really dont want to be subjected to her "help" anymore (my career is already in the toilet- I don't need her help to flush it)

There is no options of another location, I asked. So I think I'll be sticking out another 6 months here. I don't really want to but I really don't think I'd survive there..

But on the bright side.. There is a glimmer of hope of a new opportunity here at the 'temp. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that things will work out and itll be my turn for good. I think its about my turn.

Today

63 hours

Is what I ended up with for this week and I am tired and sore, but I did get to work in 4 new locations.. Add the pay issues with my OT shift last week its going to be a NICE thursday this week...

World imploding?

So I wonder what would happen when you put 2 of the same personality together in the same work location at the same time would the world impode? So I met the female version of Captain yesterday pretty much down to the T and it got me thinking that it would prob be an all out war where no actual work would be done because they are too busy vie-ing for guest interaction and compliments...

Other than that it was a very pleasant (though a touch cold) day at Epcot. Today off to the Studios!

or two but three extra shifts for next week... Which is good as we are down to 4 days so not only am I back up to 40 Im at 53...
